AWARDS FOR STORYTELLERS
Our Arts Endowment Fund administered by the Ontario Arts Foundation, from which we receive yearly interest payments that pay for our awards, has had a minus 3.8% return on their investments for the six months ending June 20, 2008. They have advised us that we should not expect an income payment from our endowment fund in March 2009, therefore we are disappointed to announce that we will not be in a position to offer the Alice Kane Award for the 2008-2009 fiscal year.
Thanks to a generous domation from an anonymous donor we are pleased to inform you that we are accepting applications for the Anne Smythe Travel Grant. Please note that the deadline for application has been extended to January 15, 2009
